NICHOLAS SINGLETON
Scout's Take
Nick Singleton possesses a "tremendous" combination of explosiveness and long speed that allows him to hit home runs when given a crease. A former five-star recruit, Singleton's physical tools are elite; he is a runaway freight train who uses his track-and-field background to eliminate pursuit angles. Standing 6'0" and 221 pounds, he is also one of the best pass protectors in the 2026 class, providing a sound floor for NFL usage. However, Singleton's career at Penn State has been a story of unmet expectations. His lack of vision as a runner is "extremely troubling," and he often fails to find space or navigate complex blocking schemes. He is a straight-line athlete who lacks the lateral flexibility to change direction quickly in tight quarters. In fantasy, he is a boom-or-bust player; he can win a week with a 70-yard touchdown but may provide zero production if the blocking doesn't provide a clean runway. His pro comparison to Lamar Miller reflects his speed-power profile in an outside-zone system. While he never fully developed into the player his athleticism suggested, his physical ceiling remains high if he finds the perfect schematic fit.
