ELI STOWERS
Scout's Take
Eli Stowers is a former 4-star quarterback who transitioned into a Mackey Award-winning tight end at Vanderbilt. At 6'4" and 235 pounds, Stowers is an incredibly fluid athlete who functions more like a "power slot" or "big receiver" than a traditional in-line blocker. He led Vanderbilt as their top offensive weapon in 2025, recording 62 receptions for 769 yards. Stowers is a mismatch nightmare who stretches the field vertically and excels at creating yards after the catch. In fantasy football, he is a premier PPR dynasty pick due to his receiving-first skill set and projected NFL usage in passing-heavy offenses like Miami or Kansas City. While his athletic ability is elite, he is still "raw" at the catch point and struggles with drop issues. His primary weakness is blocking; he lacks the play strength to survive in the box and often avoids physical collisions as a blocker. However, his high-jump champion background translates into Promising catch radius and vertical speed. He mirrors the "Swiss-army" versatility of Taysom Hill but with a higher ceiling as a pure pass-catching weapon.
