C.J. Daniels is a crafty playmaker with "some of the stickiest hands" you will find in a wide receiver prospect. Standing 6'2" and 205 pounds, Daniels displays a smooth catching process and a large radius that allows him to pluck the ball far away from his frame. He is extremely aggressive at the catchpoint, routinely "climbing the ladder" to beat defenders in the air. At Miami, he posted 50 receptions for 557 yards and 7 touchdowns, proving to be one of the most reliable weapons in the offense. In fantasy terms, Daniels is a savvy route runner who creates separation through dynamic footwork rather than vertical speed. While he won't separate vertically, he makes up for it with elite ball skills and body control. His primary weaknesses are a lack of top-end speed and strength, which can lead to him being jammed by bigger press corners. However, his IQ and detailed route-running allowed him to thrive at both Liberty and Miami. Like DeAndre Hopkins, he is a big-bodied playmaker who earns his targets through reliability and contested-catch dominance.
