ADAM RANDALL
Scout's Take
Adam Randall is a "unicorn" prospect who successfully transitioned from a 4-star wide receiver to a 233-pound power back during his final year at Clemson. Standing 6'2", Randall possesses an imposing frame that allows him to "punish" defenders at the point of contact. He is a power-oriented runner who excels as a downhill finisher, recording over 1,000 scrimmage yards in his first full season at the position. His background as a receiver is evident in the passing game, where he runs a diverse route tree and tracks the ball naturally out of the backfield. In fantasy leagues, he is a high-upside gadget weapon who can also handle kick return duties. However, his vision between the tackles is still "trending upward," and he can appear rigid when trying to string lateral moves together. Like Cordarrelle Patterson, he is a "matchup problem" whose value comes from creative usage across multiple alignments. If he refines his decisiveness, he has the physical tools to be a dominant three-down force.
