KC Concepcion is a human highlight reel who creates production through pure suddenness. At 5'11" and 190 pounds, he is the prototypical modern slot receiver who can also serve as a "gadget" weapon in the backfield. His acceleration is instant; he reaches top speed in just two steps, making him a nightmare on jet sweeps and screen passes. What makes Concepcion unique is his vision in open space; he runs with the instinctual cut-back ability of an elite running back, often making the first defender miss with ease. In PPR fantasy formats, he is a gold mine due to the manufactured touches he receives. His route running is sharp, particularly on "in" and "out" breaking routes where he can use his lateral twitch to create massive cushions. While he is height-restricted and may struggle against physical perimeter press, his role in the slot usually keeps him clean. He shares many stylistic traits with Cooper Kupp, specifically in his ability to find "dead spots" in zone coverage and turn a five-yard hitch into a thirty-yard gain.
